The Founder and Academic Dean, Dr. John S. Jester was ordained the Venerable Sri Yamuni to the Mahayana tradition and lineage of medical monks.
Dr. Jester is a scientist, educator, lawyer, physician with degrees in biology, law, forensic pathology, allopathic medicine, eastern medicine, integrative medicines. He has studied in USA, Sri Lanka, India, China and the Caribbean.
Dr. Jester is recognized as a scholar of Fu Zhen Cancer Therapy and Medical Qigong. He is retired from medical practice, serves as Academic Dean of Yamuni Institute of Healing Arts LLC and Provost of the International College of Bionutrition. He also serves as legal advisor to international health organizations, lectures and appears on radio and T.V.
Dr. Jester is a natural medicine advocate and promotes the recognition and status of natural medicine practitioners worldwide.

In the year 2000 he received international recognition by being awarded the “Seva Chakra” award, the highest honor, for Service to Medicine and Humanity from the INDIAN BOARD OF ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES. Previously awarded to such individuals as Mother Theresa and the Dali Lama. Also in the year 2000 he was awarded the prestigious “Millennium Seva Ratna” award for Natural Medicine presented by THE INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES, India. The “Millennium Seva Ratna” award is The International Institute of Health Sciences highest honor.
